Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a busy day, setting up some security settings for a bunch of people in the morning and some other tickets.
Curtis went and picked up a package which was being held and it was our new, better, masks, so that’s good!
In the afternoon, Curtis had a meeting with some people with his team to discuss a potential future project and a few pieces of feedback from others.
After that meeting, he had some team building with his team where he played some Jackbox games with them.
He helped do some testing for a project and then jumped into happy hour for a little bit.
Kim’s Day
Kim didn’t bother to take her laptop home yesterday so she took her early morning call from her phone and then went into the office after.
Once she was in the office Kim organised a few things, sent out and replaced some gift cards, reached out to FedEx and labelled all the empty drawers in the office. It was so satisfying to have all the empty desks have empty drawers and be labelled, it has taken ages to get to that point, Kim now has to clean and sort the stationary she found, but thats not the point!
After all that Kim spent the rest of the day on two things, signs and social calls. She started with cutting, lamiating and shaping the signs and continued doing this while she was on the east coast call. After the call Kim started putting the signs up around the office, she also started taping in the kitchen to mark out zones for people to use. There is still a fair amount of work that needs to be done in the kitchen, but she has made a good start.
Kim joined the west coast social call while she put up a few more signs. She didnt stay on the call for too long as she had to help her colleague with something and then they had a nice chat.
Eurovision Movie
We ordered some Thai food and ate that whilst watching the new Eurovision movie, made by Will Ferrell.
The film was pretty funny and they had some Icelandic accents and spoke some Icelandic, which was pretty awesome to hear!
