Curtis had a quiet day, doing some tickets and then having a 1:1, followed by a project update meeting.
After lunch, Curtis got ready to head out as he had a dentist appointment.
The dental practice has very good restrictions with regards to COVID-19 and it was really good to see that.
Curtis was there for about an hour for his hygiene appointment.
Curtis was also informed that if he wishes to have his wisdom teeth removed, he has to do so through a full surgery as they’re touching his nerves!
When Curtis got home, he caught up on things from work and then sat back and had a drink whilst playing some games.
Kim left for work and was greeted by a lot of rain, so she popped back to the apartment to grab a jacket and then went into work. On the walk in Kim joined a call as she had planned to be in the office before it started, but luckily no one joined.
When she got in Kim went around and said a few good mornings to very happy faces. People are very excited to be back in the office again. They also found their little gift bags Kim made the other day and loved them!
When she set up her laptop she got a notification that people were on the call Kim was hosting earlier. So Kim jumped back on that call and had a nice chat.
After the call Kim started on the one task she gave herself for the day, take old used notebooks apart, recycle the parts she can and shred the written on pages. Kim also showed someone around the office and explained the method behind the madness to all of the tape on the floor in the kitchen and around the office. She also helped a few people setting up their work spaces.
For some of the morning Kim helped IT fixing the meeting room booking system and she fixed the hot water in the kitchen. Then until lunch Kim tore up more books.
For lunch Kim hosted the other social call, but no one joined for 20 minutes. So Kim and one other person had a quick chat for 10 and it was lovely.
In the afternoon Kim tore up a few more books, replaced someones laptop and answered a few emails. Everyone had an earlier social drink, and everyone enjoyed their mini bubbly bottles from the gift bags, and a back to office photo was taken, which was great! Kim did set up the online social call, but no one joined! It is probably because it was a strange short week that was chopped in half.
Kim got home and we ordered some fried chicken from Juke. It was pretty tasty, though definitely not as good as we had hoped. Curtis also got some ribs with his and they weren’t particularly great either.
We watched some TV and played some games for the evening.
