Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a meeting right at 09:00 which was an informational company wide meeting.
Once that meeting was done, it was right into work! He needed to check a bunch of websites to find out the data privacy information for many different pieces of software. This took time but was interesting and useful for the team.
After that, he did a few tickets and then was finally able to connect with someone about their laptop, so he did a bit of work on that but he’s still a way away from getting that sorted.
In the late afternoon, Curtis had to do some work with licenses which was tedious but needed to be done. He got 1/3 tasks completed on that.
Curtis then watched hockey after work whilst Kim did some more work and had a late meeting. We were both so very busy and important again today!
Kim’s Day
To start her day Kim got stuck into some forms and paperwork. It’s was mind boggling but interesting for sure! She then had a chat with a teammate to see how things are going and get updates on projects. It was then time for a wellness break and Kim hosted colouring in. It was so soothing and relaxing! Kim really enjoyed it.
She then had a quick chat with another teammate before joining the weekly recruitment meeting then she joined another meeting that followed on that talks about future recruitment that went over. Some of the people went from that meeting right into another to complete paperwork. As they went back to back Kim ended up making her lunch while in the meeting so everyone had lunch as they started the next meeting.
For the rest of the afternoon Kim did some other paperwork for HR stuff then sat down and reviewed candidates with people for a few hours into the evening. It was interesting and great to do again, it’s been a few weeks since they last had the chance to do a deep dive like that
Evening
We had some dinner once hockey was done and once Kim finished working.
We watched some TV and relaxed for the remainder of the evening. We can’t believe it’s Friday already tomorrow!
