Place 72 – Day 579: Vancouver, BC – Technology Is Annoying, Sometimes!

Curtis’ Day

Curtis had a team meeting at 10:30, but before that he had a lot of tickets and emails from people.

After the successful team meeting, Curtis created accounts and setup other things for a new onboard and then had some lunch.

After lunch, there were many more tickets to get done and that took Curtis nicely to the end of the day.

After work, Curtis’ phone was being a pain and he tried everything to get it working but just couldn’t get it to work properly.

Eventually, he was able to ask on a forum and they were able to help him get it working, which was a relief.

Kim’s Day

To get ready for this week Kim took some time to finalise some meetings and made a few plans. She then joined the team meeting to discuss the work that is going on over the next couple of weeks and the projects that she is handing over to her teammates. This meeting went on for an extra hour, which was a surprise, but a lot of good plans came out of it, which was wonderful!

In the early afternoon Kim had a chat with a couple of people to discuss how the interview they were all attending. Then they all went into the interview and Kim took notes!

Once Kim was back from lunch she started getting a few things done and then had a call with her manager, which ended up being a call with the whole executive team and then they all joined another surprise call to go over a project! It was a really interesting afternoon!

For the late afternoon Kim worked on contracts!

Evening

Kim made chicken burgers, that she made before from scratch, and they were just as good as they were last time!

We ate that and then chilled out watching TV for the evening.

This Time Last Year!
