Place 72 – Day 532: Vancouver, BC – Made A Thing!

Curtis’ Day

Curtis started the day with a team meeting and then did some tickets and got ready to present something he had made.

The presentation was great and he got some good feedback from his colleagues too, such was excellent.

Curtis then had some tickets to do until just before lunch which is when he then made quite a few changes to the project he was working on, which he continued after lunch and to near the end of the day, too, but he got it sorted! There’s just a little more to do tomorrow.

Kim’s Day

Today Kim sent our a new survey to get started. She then had a quick call with someone she was supporting in a meeting later on to make sure everything was set up and ready to go.

Kim then joined the daily catch up with the rest of her team to have a chat about projects and plans for the day. This meeting overran by a lot but some great things were discussed and plans were made so it was a very great chat.

She then spent the last bit of her morning getting ready for the meeting she was helping with and sending out an invite for another games night for this week!

Everyone loved the one on Saturday so much that it was decided to have another one.

Just before the meeting, Kim joined the call to double check that everything worked and then they jumped into it! The meeting had a couple of hiccups but in general went so well. Kim cannot wait to help with the next one.

In the afternoon Kim worked on some paperwork and had a quick call about a facilities project. After that she went on a masked walk with her colleague to get some fresh air and make some plans.

It was a great day.

Evening

Once Kim got home, we had some pizza for dinner and watched a bit of Superstore which is an easy to watch funny series on Netflix.

We played some games and watched some more TV for the remainder of the evening.
