Yesterday’s Hockey Game
Curtis’ hockey game went well!
His team won 2-0, though he didn’t really do too much, offensively.
The team is currently 2-0!
Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a few meetings today, eith the first being a project meeting in which he had to make a flowchart of a process, along with a couple of colleagues.
After that, he had a team meeting and then another meeting not too long after which was for another project, just to discuss how to do the certain things for the project which was something Curtis hadn’t done before.
Right after that, there was a meeting to discuss current updates for a project.
Curtis did some tickets and admin in the afternoon.
Kim’s Day
Today Kim went out to coffee with a friend from her old job and it was amazing! They met at a coffee place near the office and both ended up having doughnuts and having a great chat and laugh!
Just after Kim left the catchup she got an email confirming an interview for tomorrow morning! Its for the role that she had a phone screening for last week and ts a role that Kim is extremely excited for, so fingers crossed!
On her way home Kim picked up a celebratory coffee for Curtis and herself. Then she had a quick lunch before researching the company a little more.
In preparation for potential interviews Kim found someone selling a few pairs of shoes that she liked the look of, so she went and picked them up. When she got there, the lady included two more pairs! So Kim got 6 pairs for $15! The few that don’t fit Kim will take to the thrift shop down the road.
On that success Kim decided to change up something about the apartment. When Kim picked out the bed that they currently have she didnt realise it was longer than the mattress and that the headboard was at a reading angle and really stuck out at the back. So Kim has been secretly annoyed at the bed for a while as it takes up more room than it needs and Kim keeps kicking it when she walks around. So she decided to get another new bed. She was able to find someone selling one that they have only had for a few months and wanting to sell it this evening. So Kim agreed and listed the current bed and has a buyer thats super local that wants it!
Evening
We had some pasta for dinner as well as some ceasar salad.
Kim then went out in the later evening to get another bed as we wanted a slightly smaller one. We have replaced our bed often, but we want to try and get one that fits our mattress perfectly.
Once Kim picked that up we chilled out for the evening.
