Place 72 – Day 364: Vancouver, BC – Crystal Falls

Breakfast

We woke up at 11:00 and then had some breakfast.

Curtis had lemon curd on toast and Kim had condensed milk on toast, just like she did in Thailand!

Crystal Falls

We got ready and headed out in the car to Coquitlam to go to Crystal Falls!

It took us about 40 minutes to drive to the place, but we got there and it didn’t look entirely right.

We walked around for a while, in an area that was right by a large mining/industrial area, and found no sign of the trail we were looking for.

Eventually, we were able to get some mobile data and saw they had moved the trail entrance, so we had to drive to a slightly different area.

We got to the entrance of the trail and off we went!

The walk/hike in general was very easy, and took us about an hour to get to the waterfall.

Once we got to the waterfall, we took a seat and relaxed, listening to the flowing water. Kim even dipped her feet into the brisk stream!

We then left here and made our way back down, which took about an hour also.

We got back in the incredibly hot car and drove to get a coffee.

Insurance & Coffee

We stopped at Starbucks but had just noticed that our insurance on the car had run out! We conveniently saw an insurance place right by the coffee shop, so we stopped in there to get the insurance renewed.

We got the Starbucks after and then drove to the supermarket near our house to get the shopping done.

Waiting

We finished the shopping and headed back home.

When we got home, we had to wait an incredibly long time for the elevator! We think that only one was working for a while, but we eventually got back to our apartment.

We then had some leftover curry for dinner, after we got showered.

We watched the film Late Night which we did enjoy.

We then played some games and watched some other, smaller, TV shows.

This Time Last Year!
