Curtis’ Day
Curtis’ day was productive as he was able to start and complete a mini project in just a few hours!
He started the day with chatting with his team about the project as everyone has to agree to it and then he did the work.
It was mostly research and testing which didn’t take him long at all to do.
He did some tickets and joined a webinar but the webinar was useless so he left it half way through.
He has been working for the last couple of days trying to get something fixed for someone but it is not playing ball, so that’s been frustrating and he worked on it more today too.
Curtis did some more reading/training in the afternoon as well as a couple of tickets and some admin.
A pretty productive day in general.
Kim’s Day
Kim started her day by getting in early to help host a company wide meeting. It went very well and it was really interesting. When that came to an end Kim sent out an email for the Q&A for tomorrow and put the recording of todays meeting on the Wiki.
Kim spent a little time tidying up where she had dumped everything in her meeting room. She then spent the rest of the morning making notes and a plan in regards to changing some things on the phone. Once that was done Kim listened to the voicemails and sent the messages on to people.
Mid afternoon Kim had a meeting with her colleague about changing the phone system and an idea that she had that would make it easier for that team to get their messages. Kim showed the functionality of the app, to the best of her abilities, and explained how it would work in this scenario.
After that meeting Kim had another meeting with a colleague about office updates that are still on the list to be done and future events that they are planning. It went well and they had some really good ideas come up!
Evening
We took the recycling out when Kim got home and then we made more garlic bread to go with the remaining lasagna.
We finished the rest of the lasagne and watched some TV. We played some more virtual mini golf, too, which we are both getting much better at!
