Place 72 – Day 298: Vancouver, BC – Double Dinner!

Curtis’ Day

Curtis had a colleague demonstrate a new application they made which helps his team onboard people faster, which is amazing!

Curtis watched that and then had his daily team meeting right after.

He then attended the weekly Zoom webinar and then got some project work done!

He got a whole project started and finished in the day and did some work for another couple of projects whilst doing so, as well as some tickets and answering questions.

Kim’s Day

To start the day Kim hosted the mid week catch up where she had three other people join the call, it was great! For the most of the morning she worked on lots of little tasks, she set up a time and date for the next cello performance and she fully finished the log that she will need for the coming weeks.

Later in the morning Kim had an impromptu call with her manager and another manager to discuss plans for the log Kim had been working on to see if there were any better alternatives. After that call Kim had another call with a different colleague in regards to stuff going on in the office.

After lunch Kim had her 1-1 which went well, she had a great talk. For the afternoon Kim worked on the team project by updating a few documents and the Wiki page. She also sent out a message to people in Vancouver about the deals on their chosen hotels in the Downtown area, just in case people want to have a mini break.

Double Dinner!

Once we finished working, we ate the remaining fancy cheeses that we had in the fridge, as a ‘first dinner’.

Right after that, Kim made some tomato and mushroom spaghetti which was excellent and our second dinner!

We watched some Shirlock and The Great before retiring to bed.

This Time Last Year!
