Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a pretty busy day today.
He got into a rabbit hole around security, checking a few things and then researching a bunch of stuff. It was very interesting, which was good.
Curtis had his daily team meeting which became a bit more than that but it was very productive!
After that, Curtis for a few tickets done and then had lunch.
Curtis created a project or two after lunch and did some tickets. After that, he had a team meeting and then did some admin, before joining the end of week happy hour call.
Kim’s Day
Its Friday! Which means Kim started it with the UK social call, it was just three people, which wasn’t too surprising as we had a company meeting just after. Kim hosted the company meeting today, its a Q&A from yesterday’s meeting and it went really well.
Shortly after the Q&A the team had a quick catch up to celebrate someone’s birthday! It is the other person in Kim’s team, so Kim was really excited to celebrate her birthday. It was so nice to talk to everyone and wish her a happy birthday!
Kim then sent out the quarter finals cribbage invites and dealt with a few emails for most of the morning. After lunch she hosted the east coast call which was also nice, but Kim felt oddly distracted and a little lackluster during this call, which is weird as she usually really enjoys it!
Kim spent the afternoon working on a team project and updating a document. For the project she also updated a Wiki page and wrote up a document to be used.
To finish the day Kim joined the west coast social call and really enjoyed it. It was such a good group of people and a great way to end the day.
Zeffirelli’s Pasta
We had some good food for dinner! We ordered from Zeffirelli’s which is an Italian not too far from us.
We had eaten there before and the portion sizes are huge but the food is great! It came with free bread too.
Kim had a pasta with chicken, peas and sun-dried tomatoes and Curtis had a carbonara. Both were excellent and we have more than enough for another meal.
We watched another episode of Space Force and then the film Little Monsters which was actually quite good.
We watched more TV throughout the evening and just relaxed.
