Place 72 – Day 291: Vancouver, BC – Salad Season!

Curtis’ Day

Curtis did a lot of ticket work today, and a lot of the day was for one in particular.

Curtis had some tickets to do first thing and then had 2 meetings in a row.

He had a meeting with a couple of people from his team in which they discussed options around a specific piece of software that’s been under discussion for a while, and then he had another meeting which was his daily team one.

After his meeting, Curtis did a lot of small things for a bunch of different tickets and then had lunch.

Post lunch, Curtis spent most of the rest of the day researching and getting information and pricing on a specific laptop for someone, which he was able to order, too.

Curtis did some report exporting for someone and then his day was done.

Kim’s Day

Today’s blog for Kim won’t be all that interesting as she spent more time on FedEx again!

She started her day by losing a game of cribbage, unfortunately that means she is now out of the competition entirely! She enjoyed it whole she was involved, but still gets to facilitate the tournament which is great.

She went from the game straight into the mid week catch up. Today was great, there were a few newer faces and everyone was able to have a great conversation, which obviously focused around the events in America, black lives matter, human rights and hope for change.

A little later in the morning Kim had a donut catchup which was brilliant. It was with someone who works in the same office as Kim and that she gets on well with, which is great!

Kim then spent a lot of her day reorganising FedEx pickups and sorting out a few more. She also made a few plans for other projects and tried making a payment that has been a pain for the last couple of weeks, it still didn’t work.

Salad Season!

We were pretty hungry after work, but we watched an episode of a TV show first and then made dinner. It’s getting much warmer now so it’s time to have more salads.

We had a mexican chicken salad, which was absolutely perfect for today!

We watched some TV, played some games and did some tidying and cleaning around the apartment.

We played some UNO and mini sticks in the evening too, to break up the TV watching!

This Time Last Year!
