We had some breakfast, just some cereal, and then started to get ready for the day.
Our old landlord texted us and said we can pop over for the final handover and checklist.
We got there and cleaned a few things before he arrived.
All went well and we just had a few things to clean before the handover.
We got it handed over and then we were done! We are officially moved out of that a apartment now and there is therefore no work to do there anymore.
We got back home and went out for some coffee. We went to a place called Incognito Coffee which we really enjoyed.
We brought the coffee home and then Kim’s friend came over to confirm that our ceiling is concrete. Once that was confirmed, we had a bit of a chat and then they left.
Once they had left, we got Kim’s pole stood up and it was perfect! She is very happy she can use it now and has had a few tries on it.
We then went down to the protest here in Vancouver. We stood distanced from everyone on the outskirts of the protest, but we wanted to show our support.
We then went home, and will be self isolating for 14 days as much as possible.
We had cheese and wine for dinner, as we went to the shop once we left our old apartment earlier.
We ate that and just watched some TV for the rest of the evening. Nothing fancy.
