Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a lot of tickets to do this morning.
After Curtis got the tickets done, he had a short computer checkup with someone to ensure it was working how it should be and then did another one of these shortly after.
In the afternoon, Curtis did some updates to the document he created yesterday and then had to contact an external vendor for support on some software.
After that, it started to get quieter, and then someone reached out for help with something that has been ongoing for a while now.
Curtis assisted her, but didn’t get the problem solved after an hour or so, so he has setup a call for tomorrow to discuss with the relevant people.
Curtis then left to meet Kim downtown for some apartment viewings.
Kim’s Day
Today Kim joined another cribbage game that wasn’t hers so she left that and went through her emails. She then hosted another game of who are you and it was so much fun. Less argumentative than the last game, but people really seemed to enjoy it.
Kim then soent some time reaching out to to building, cleaners and handyman company in regards to plans for tomorrow. She got most things sorted and organised which is great.
In the early afternoon Kim got a response back in regards to an invite she is sending out for a gratitude call later in the week. Kim amended the email and sent it out.
As she has to be in early tomorrow, and she forgot to set things up last week, Kim decided to head into the office and make sure she has everything ready for the renovations tomorrow. She got the whiteboards in the right place, collected the wall brackets for the TV and tested the paint too.
More Apartment Viewings & Showing Our Apartment
We met in the city to look at another couple of apartments.
The first was in the same building as one we looked at yesterday and it was nice, but the location was still not great.
We then went to another which was nice, but the bedroom was very small and the deal breaker was the building nextdoor which had some interesting characters.
We then went to another which is still a bit downtown but was very nice! A good size and then landlord was a very nice lady!
We headed back home and got back right in time for our landlord to show 3 sets of people around the apartment, one of which was virtual.
We had a bit of a discussion with our landlord and then finally got to relax at 20:00, having dinner (just a frozen pizza because we were too lazy to cook anything) and watched some TV for the remainder.
