Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a very busy day planned and it stayed that way!
Curtis had a company wide meeting and that lasted for around an hour. This was to update everyone on the current status of the company.
After the meeting, Curtis helped people with a few of their questions and then had his usual team meeting.
Curtis had a project meeting and then spent the rest of the morning helping someone with a couple of Zoom issues.
In the afternoon, Curtis completed an offboard which involved wiping a laptop remotely.
After that, Curtis spent a while looking into why someone wasn’t in a group they should be in, but it turns out that they were! Curtis learned a few things during this, though.
Curtis got some admin done and then had happy hour drinks with colleagues from his office!
Curtis played 30 minutes of Rocket League with his colleagues before we decided we should order some food!
Kim’s Day
After the regular morning meeting Kim started the social catch up for the UK and it was so fun! She spoke with a couple of new people she hadn’t met before and a few friendly faces.
After this Kim called FedEx to sort paperwork for a refund that was on her credit card. It was surprisingly easy and was sorted without any hiccups, a great big win! She then worked on some events, building up an easter quiz and sending out invites to a 30 minute drop in game of Skribbl, its like online pictonary! One thing that Kim wants to do is to do social events that everyone will enjoy and make sure she puts on a good variety of events.
Kim then held the east coast social catch up and it was fun. Everyone chatted for a while and then after a few people left the remaining played a few games, of Skribbl surprisingly! It was so fun and everyone had a great giggle.
After that call Kim had a quick chat with her family, it was great to see their faces and have a catch up! Over the weekend they are going to call again and probably play some games, which Kim is so looking forward to!
Kim then worked on her Easter quiz and event managed to put together a virtual easter egg hunt using Kahoot, so that will be fun! She sent out the invite for this too.
For the rest of the afternoon Kim was on social calls, she had one with her department that was for 15 minutes and then the west coast social drinks which was for 30 minutes, she saw people that she hadn’t seen in weeks and it was great!
Korean
We decided to order some Korean food from Disco Cheetah again, for the 2nd time.
Kim got a chicken bao and a chicken rice bowl, whilst Curtis got a pork bao and a beef bulgogi rice bowl.
We finished eating and watched the movie District 9.
We played some games and watched some TV for the evening…we had a very short feeling week but it was a positive one!
