Place 72 – Day 190: Vancouver, BC – A Slow One

Curtis’ Day

The day was very slow for Curtis today.

He didn’t really have anything planned for the day, but had 2 meetings back to back at the start of the day.

The day ended up being steady as tickets came in, but no project work for him at all.

Curtis fought with a laptop in the afternoon, which would do as he wanted it to, for some reason. He also helped a couple of people with their questions.

Weirdly, the day was slow work-wise, but fast time-wise!

Kim’s Day

Kim collected more RSVPs for the winter party and continued adding notes to her to do list.

She then went to get something from the stationary cupboard and couldn’t find it so she dragged everything out and reorganised it. She recently found 2 plastic baskets in her apartment buildings swap table and knew they would be perfect for the stationary cupboard and they were perfect too!

Kim then took am earlier lunch as she had a meeting in the early afternoon. Just after lunch Kim got caught on the phone with a potential vendor. They organised for Kim to arrange a lunch for her and the administrative team so Kim will look into setting that up for next week.

In the meeting with her colleague Kim went through the relatively long list of questions she stored up over the last week. Kim will bow be hanging up a whiteboard, responding to a rental company and she also got a lot of guidance on the Holiday party among many other things.

Kim went from this meeting straight into her bi-weekly 121 with her manager. They had a great catch up and Kim got a lot of guidance on how to love forward on a few things too!
After the meetings, Kim had a few items to action for the Holiday party and other communications that need to go out so she worked her way through these.

Free running!

Curtis watched the Leafs game which started at 19:00, so a couple of hours after the usual time, so he could watch the whole thing.

Kim went to free running to check the place out and then went to off to pole training.

Kim’s training tonight was far more successful than last week! She managed a fair few handstand related moves and even started to feel more confident with a differnt variety of climb which is wonderful!

We managed to watch one bit of TV before sleeping!

This Time Last Year!
