A quick breakfast
We got up and had some scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, but it had to be quick!
Supporting others
Kim got ready and went out to support other people from her pole club.
She got there and did a bit of training but then spent the rest of the day watching other people’s performances and preparing.
Kim’s Performance!
Curtis walked to the theatre that the performances were taking place in, which took about 30 minutes, and he was able to catch a few people before Kim.
Kim had 2 others in her group, so was guaranteed a medal, but wanted to do well!
Kim’s performance was first of her group and it went perfectly with no issues.
Kim really enjoyed it and Curtis was very proud and thought it was amazing!
After that, the two others went and then it was time for the level 5 people.
These people were insane and it was a real eye opener to both of us.
Once that was done, the award ceremony happened, after a big group photo.
Awards
All the medals were given out for each category and Kim got 3rd out of 3 in her group. Curtis felt her routine was the best, so it wasn’t fair! But Kim did enjoy it and did really well, but she still got a medal which is amazing!
Food & Drinks
We went out with a few people from the competition and their partners.
We just went to Earl’s Kitchen & Bar which is a standard place here in Vancouver.
We each got cajun chicken and it was delicious! Curtis also got an old fashioned and Kim got a mojito.
We had some good chats and met a few new people which was great fun and then we took the slow 30 minute walk back home.
We got back home and it was bed time!
Mr & Mrs Hale
Well done darling, all the time and effort you’ve put in over the weeks (months) since you have restarted doing pole has really paid off. Love you lots. Xoxoxo
