Queen Elizabeth Park
We had no plans today, but didn’t want to sit around the house, so instead we went up to Elizabeth park! This was a 44 minute walk away, but it was easier to drive, so we drove up there which only took about 15 minutes.
We got there and found some free parking and then went to grab a coffee from Starbucks.
Curtis got a Thanksgiving blend to see how that is and Kim got a small hot chocolate.
We went for a walk in the park, but it wasn’t all that good. There was a cute small bridge which had a nice view of the park/gardens, which did look quite nice.
We walked across the bridge and got to a great view of some parts of the city, with mountains in the background, too!
We looked at the view for a bit and then walked up to a fountain but were still unimpressed.
We needed to get home to start making dinner, so we walked back to the car and drove home.
Big Roast
We got back home and ran to the shop for a few last things and then began cooking!
It took a while, but the result was excellent. We had roasted lamb and it was cooked perfectly!
We finished eating and rolled out of the chairs to clean up. We have more than enough for lunches and dinners for a few days.We sat with food comas watching TV and prepping ourselves for going back to work after such and incredible weekend.
