Curtis’ Day
Curtis had a full day planned out, his calendar had no holes at all!
He got pretty much everything he needed to get completed, done throughout the day and helped with a couple of tickets.
Curtis had a beer and chilled out a reward just before heading home and watching the remainder of the Leafs game.
Kim’s Day
The first thing Kim came across this morning was spilt milk! It was in one of the draws in the fridge and it had covered the bottom. So she emptied it out, washed down the bottles and left the draw to dry.
Kim then hurried back to her desk as there was someone in for an interview, they were 25 minutes early! So she and Kim had a nice little chat.
Surprisingly Kim spent the next little while still catching up on invoices. She also had a meeting with her team mate as a catch up on the dire drill that happened the other week. They arranged plans to make some changes and add some other little safety features in.
Shortly after this meeting Kim sat down and had some lunch with the rest of the team which was really nice.
After lunch Kim had set up a meeting with IT to see if a software that they already have in place for one thing could also assist with something that Kim and her colleague want to implement from a safety standpoint. It went well and they believe that the software company should be able to help and they are already in the works to have a demo meeting set up which is perfect!
For a little while after the meeting Kim finished her invoices! It was amazing! Now next week all she has to do is reconcile everything!
After sorting the invoices Kim went out to pick up the wine and cider for the afternoon drinks. Kim came back caught up on some emails and then set the afternoon drinks up. She then went and finished a little scanning before joining in for a card game and a nice long chat with people she doesn’t get to speak to very often, which is so nice!
As everyone dwindled away, Kim cleared up. She then popped out to send some post and was about to head home before she realised that her class this evening was in an hour and 10 minutes. If Kim walked home she would be there for all of 15 minutes! She didn’t see the point in this so sat down with a smoothie and relaxed at work!
Call Of Duty Beta & Pizza Night!
Kim left work late so went right to training from there.
Tonight’s class was so fun! Kim enjoyed the routine and really felt she kept up!
After watching hockey, Curtis played more of (and got better at) the Call of Duty beta.
Kim got back from her training and brought pizza!
We sat and ate pizza and watched TV all evening. It’s starting to feel a lot colder now in the evenings, so more reason to snuggle up and watch TV.
