Place 72 – Day 119: Vancouver, BC – Stressful Costco Run & Hockey Scrimmage

Family Chat

We woke up and got ready just in time to speak with Curtis’ family.

We had a nice chat and spoke with Curtis’ auntie, uncle and cousins which was really nice!

We finished this and then headed out to the car for a road trip…To Costco!

Big Costco

We wanted to see if the Richmond Costco was any better, as it’s much bigger.

We took a drive out there, but stopped at bulk barn first to see what that was about (it wasn’t great).

We got into the Costco carpark and it was a mission. People and cars everywhere! We eventually got a space, and went into the pandemonium of Costco.

It wasn’t really any better than the one usually go to, just bigger and full of more people!

We left after about an hour and got back into the car to go to Walmart.

We got a few lunch items from the shop then drove back home.

Hockey Scrimmage!

We watched a few things on TV and had a delicious sweet chilli beef dish with rice.

Once it got to 20:15 we left the house and drove down to New Westminster for Curtis’ scrimmage!

Curtis really enjoyed it, having not played since December. He got to meet his team mates and more importantly, play hockey with them.

#65 in White!

It wasn’t all that serious. It went on for an hour and 15 minutes and then it was home time.

Curtis thought he’d have been more tired but he actually feels great and can’t wait for the season to start again!

We got home pretty late so then it was bed time.

This Time Last Year!
