Curtis’ Day
Curtis’ day was busy from the get-go, with a flood of tickets in the morning.
Curtis’ priority for the day was to get a new user set up as they were meant to be starting later but are actually starting tomorrow!
Curtis setup the account and then a laptop for them followed by their desk phone.
After setting everything up for them and completing a couple of tickets, it was already lunch time!
Curtis had a delicious tuna mayo sandwich which Kim made.
After lunch, Curtis had a short meeting and then setup some laptops. Whilst doing this, he also almost completed a project which he is passionate about.
It was pretty much home time once Curtis had finished consentrating on this and so he and Kim left work.
Kim’s Day
Kim got in out of the rain and started her day right, with some breakfast!
There was a different feeling in the office today, it felt a little more relaxed and Kim felt she had some time to get stuff done which was amazing!
As its the first of the month Kim had to update the social calendar in the kitchen. Kim spent some time researching what’s happening in the up coming month and updated the calendar even with some little pictures!
Kim started on getting some information together about the summer party coming up in the middle of August. Kim contacted a bus company, booked a rental car and checked when all the rentals would be arriving. Very successful!
Then the fruit arrived so Kim organised it all! Then Kim accepted an invite from a local hotel to they out their menu. Very much looking forward to that!
Kim then spent some time organising some catering for next week, lots of different meeting requiring food, on top of all the usual catering that comes in.
A trip to FedEx was needed, so it was nice to head out into the sun in the afternoon when the rain had gone away.
Kim then spent the rest of the afternoon preparing the social teams meetings agenda for the catch up in the morning. Then it was suddenly home time!
Costco & Chilli Pork
We ran to Costco after work to get a couple of things and then made the walk home.
Kim started on the dinner and then she went out to get some things she had forgotten.
Curtis put the rice on once Kim got back and then we had some dinner!
It was sweet chilli pork with ginger, garlic, vegetables and rice. Excellent.
We watched some YouTube videos and then some Lucifer.
Today has gone crazy fast…and it’s already Wednesday tomorrow!
