Curtis’ Day;
The train was very busy again this morning, but Curtis managed to get on it.
Curtis got to work around 08:45 and started with things he needed to get sorted.
Curtis was pretty busy up until lunch and then after lunch it was quite quiet.
Curtis had something plannes at 16:00, but at 15:00 there was an office meeting in which all departments shared what was happening with them as well as a few other things around the office. There were free drinks included, but as Curtis had some things to do he didn’t drink much.
At 16:00, the meeting ended and Curtis went back to his desk to complete the task. This task took pretty much an hour and that took Curtis perfectly to 17:00.
Curtis left the office and went to get the train. This time, it was a different train and, well, it was incredibly busy! There were actual queues to board the train!
Curtis got onto the train and was on there for a while.
Once he eventually got off the crowded train, he took the bus to IKEA.
Kim’s Day;
Kim started the day with more fun bank issues…Once she got that all sorted, she went to our new apartment to help the current lady move out.
Kim finished helping and had to go to Richmond to get the uhaul van. She also had to get a busy train and then a bus as it wasn’t far from IKEA.
Kim tried to get our van, but it had previously been damaged so she had to wait for another one. Luckily, this all happened whilst Curtis was travelling to IKEA.
Evening;
Once Kim got the van, she met Curtis at IKEA and we went in to buy stuff for our new home.
We got a bed, sheets, a mattress, table and chairs and a lot of other miscellaneous items. Successful!
We moved it all into our van, parked up and went to get meatballs.
Once we finished eating, we drove back to our current place and found a place to park nearby.
We got back home and had to pack and we also looked up some more 2nd hand furniture just in case we could find some deals.
We watched TV for the rest of the night and then went to bed.
We have to get up early-ish tomorrow to pickup some items and then move in!
