A Phone Interview
Kim had another phone interview this morning! It sounds like an interesting role and she has actually been offered an in person interview!
Recruiter Chat
Just after Kim was done with her interview, Curtis had a quick call with an IT Recruiter, who seemed very keen to get Curtis a good role. So much so that he wanted to meet Curtis for a coffee.As we were both going to be in town, he invited us both to meet him at a coffee shop and Curtis had a chat with him regarding work as well as other things.We finished the chat after 30 minutes or so and we left to do some shopping.
Suit Shopping
We spent around 5/6 hours today just doing some suit shopping! We looked around many places downtown and then Curtis found a suit he liked in H&M but they didn’t have the right size trousers for the jacket, so the store called another store and said they had them there, so they held them and we got on the train to go there.We got to the train all the way there and found out they had the wrong trousers on hold and they didn’t have any to match!After we looked around for another while, we went back to H&M and got a slightly darker blue suit.We stopped at Walmart for dinner items and then went home.
Dinner & Dog Walk
We were so hungry when we got home, so we cooked right away. We had some pork with vegetables and rice with a sweet chilli sauce. Simple and delicious.We did very little for the rest of the evening, but we did take the dog we are currently living with out for a walk, just as it started to rain!
