We woke up at 11:00 and didn’t have anything for breakfast. We needed to do the shop anyway, so we went to do the shop but stopped in at a bakery also!
Before we went to the bakery, we went to go to Coffix but noticed it had a new name! They have left the Coffix name and changed to the name Little Things. The coffee was a little more expensive then before, but we spoke to them and it’s their own blend from Columbia, Kenya & Ethiopia.
The coffee was delicious and really well made too! We got our coffee and then went to the bakery. Curtis got a very large croissant and Kim got a chocolate Danish.
We ate our breakfast and then did the weekly food shop. The shop got incredibly busy so that was time to leave!
We got home and just chilled out for hours! We played some games and then needed to have some food before Curtis played hockey, so Kim made an awesome steak sandwich!

The photo doesn’t look great but it was amazing!
We ate our food and then watched some TV before Tabitha came over as she was coming to hockey with us.
Once we arrived at the rink, there was a Semi-Pro hockey game going on. This is the NZIHL, the top league in New Zealand. We got to watch the last period but then Curtis’ team had to figure out where to get changed!
Curtis’ team ended up getting changed in the same place as the home team, Botany Swarm! It was a cool experience and then got to chat with a lot of the players and have a laugh, too.
The game went OK until the last period when Curtis’ team fell apart and lost 2-1 in the end after being 1-0 up until then!
Curtis got 6 minutes in penalties but we won’t go into that…
We came home and Tabitha went home. We then wanted to watch the last episode of Modus, so we did that before going to bed.
Poroporoaki!
