Place 49 – Day 176: Auckland – Cornwall Park

We woke up at a pretty decent time and then we had some breakfast.

After breakfast, we got showered and went out for a fun day!

We drove to Cornwall Park which is a massive, beautiful park with animals in and around as well as a small ‘mountain’.

We started by walking up the small mountain. Along the way we saw some awesome looking trees!

We made our way to the top of the mountain and there was a ststue and a great view!

We walked back down and saw more sheep as well as cows!

We walked around for a while more and then found the Cafe for a drink.

The cafe was way too busy, so we walked back to the car to head home.

We were out for about 3 or so hours and the weather was cloudy but fairly warm. It was lovely to get out the house and we’d definitely go here again as it was beautiful!

We drove back and went to the shop on the way home to get food for the week and tonight.

We decided that tonight we would have duck pancakes, BBQ pork bao and spring rolls.

We picked up everything we needed for it and headed home with a stop to the Chinese supermarket to get a packet of Chinese pancakes.

We got home and Kim made a hotpot for the week and then made dinner!

Dinner was very nice but unfortunately we failed at cooking the pancakes so we went without!

We finished dinner and Kim sat and watched a couple of episodes of love island with Nicola whilst Curtis played games.

We then played some Fortnite and watched TV then went to bed as we have to go back to work tomorrow because apparently that’s how weekends work!

This time last year!

Poroporoaki!
