We left Bergen train station at 22:59 last night, heading to our next HelpX location!
We had to take a train until 05:00 where we got off at Hokksund, waited for an hour or so and then traveled by another train to Kongsberg. Though we slept for a lot of the travel, we did see some awesome sights!
We got to Kongsberg at around 08:00 and then just had to relax a little before catching a bus. We stopped in a coffee shop at the train & bus station for a coffee (Kim a Mocca & Curtis an Americano). Kim’s Mocca was tasty but according to the lady that was running the cafe, she did it wrong so Kim got another, larger, one!
We jumped on the bus for a couple of hours and arrived at Norefjord, where we were met by Martin who is one of our hosts along with his wife and child!
We arrived at the house, which is beautiful and old and before being owned these owners, it was unused for 35 years!
Martin is English and his wife is Norwegian, so we have the best of both worlds!
We sat and had a chat about us and our travels and had a bit of coffee and some sandwiches.
We then were told that they had planned to get 2 pigs tonight but the company were dropping them off in 1 hour, so we all went outside to finish the pig’s area. We moved it around so they were unable to escape and then we had some hot dogs for lunch and another chat!
We are sleeping in a wonderful cabin, next to chickens & sheep!
We start properly at 07:00 tomorrow, so an early night tonight!
