Place 16 – Day 9: Bergen – ‘A Barrel’ of laughs!

We had a small amount of work to do today with the main job being to move and clean out a barrel that was in the back garden. This barrel was the old school ‘pirate’ kind which looks cool but isn’t the lightest! Unfortunately, it was raining whilst we did this! We emptied the barrel and sorted out what was in there which was mostly glass.

Once we completed our tasks for the day, we watched some TV but then the weather cleared up so we headed outside for some fresh air!

We walked up the hill today and back to the swimming place. We took a little detour and it was absolutely beautiful and actually quite high!

We walked for about an hour and a half and it got rather chilly!

Once we decided to head back home, we went one way and quickly realised that it just led to a rather large drop so, we walked around the drop and accidentally, multiple times, walked through a lot of sludge and water, making our feet drenched and splashing all up Kim’s trousers!

All in all, it was a pretty successful adventure, even if everything now needs washing!

Tomorrow we have a day off, so we hope to either completely relax or go out exploring again! We’re off Saturday too, but we already have plans for that, so keep an eye on the blog for Saturday!

Ha det!
